The best spot for authentic Italian sandwiches. But give the Cuban sandwich a shot it's amazing and the hot Italian beef is so good you'd think you're in Chicago,,,,,and the pizza is for real. Give it a whirl but go luck deciding witch sandwich to get because they are all amazing

Hey east coasters!!! Longing for an authentic Italian deli sandwich? Well, look no further... Dominick's in Granite Bay, CA has a muffuletta sandwich that is better than all of the New York and Philly area delis that is unbeatable in quality and price. In the last ten years when a craving for authentic deli sandwiches strikes, this has been my go to. The service is amazing and the sandwiches are sliced/made fresh on the spot. The deli meats are the best you can get west of the Mississippi. They also have a full Italian menu for family feasts so you can bring the kiddos too. There is outside seating in the deli area or inside seating at the attached restaurant/bar next door. I highly recommend Dominick's especially for the east coasters looking for that authentic deli taste that the sandwich chains will never be.

When I tell you that every single person who visits us demands we come back to this place, you better believe me! We've tried quite a few sandwiches and deli items from their menu (wise huy, eggplant parm sandwich, arranccini, etc.)... and they all have been delicious. Not a single miss! This spot is a requirement for boat days. With a large parking lot, we can easily grab sandwiches and food before we go out on the lake. The service and energy of this place still gives family establishment, with the staff being diligent to fulfill orders to the exact detail. If you come on the weekend for lunch, please be patient with the staff!

5-star rating - for me to rate a restaurant 5 stars means they have a craveability factor in either taste and/or experience. Dominick's had both. I went to Dominick's last night for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had a wonderful time. The birthday girl had the veal parmigiana, while me and another friend had the pappardelle with bolognese sauce. Our meals came with fresh bread and salad and of course we ordered dessert (chocolate cake, carrot cake, and lemon cake). The restaurant itself is small, but comfortable. The service was impeccable (friendly, accommodating, and totally on top of refills of bread and drinks). My salad (balsamic dressing) was craveably good. The bread was so good I think I may have had more than half a loaf of bread on my own (with their delicious dipping sauce). The pappardelle pasta was delicious, but I think the next time I order it will be when the weather gets cooler. It's a pretty heavy meal for a summer evening. My friends also enjoyed their meals. Everything was soooo good that I convinced my husband that we had to go there for lunch today to try out their sandwiches since it's made with the same bread they serve as a side with dinner. My husband had half a custom turkey sandwich, my brother in law had a pepperoni pizza and I was torn between a sandwich and a Stromboli. I went with the Stromboli thinking I could have a bite of my husband's sandwich. All of our plates were huge. Even the half sandwich. My BIL had left over pizza and I took my left over Stromboli home to have for dinner tonight and probably tomorrow night because the portion was so large. But I'm torn because I still have left over pappardelle from last night. Everything was so good. We would all order what we had again; however, there's still so much to try off their menu. I can't wait to go back!

Been coming here for years. My favorites are the pizzas (crust is to die for) and the deli sandwiches but everyone in my family loves the chicken Marsala. The bread is made specifically for Dominick's and is delicious. Full bar. Clean and comfortable dining room. Deli is attached and has great salads etc to eat there or to go. Folsom Lake is close bye to have a picnic. Service is impeccable. I can't recommend it enough.

Authentic deli with a variety of salads, olives, specialty items, pasta, gifts. I split the Italian Combo sandwich with the Mrs & it reminded me of Molinari Deli in SF. Delicious soft but crunchy roll is the key ingredient, ham, genoa salami, pepperoni, provolone, light amounts of mayo, oil, lettuce, onion & tomato. Not too much of one ingredient, perfect ratio. The pic is half of the small sandwich.

It has been a long hot minute since I've been to Dominick's. The long hot minute has been over 14 years ago. After having brunch at another restaurant in the same shopping center, I recalled Dominick's was across the way. So I mosey up into Dominick's to order a sandwich to go. Even though I don't dive into the sandwich until a few hours later...it was pretty darn tasty. Just as I remembered. The location houses a restaurant on one side and a deli on the other. The deli serves up fresh made hot and cold Italian sandwiches, paninis, calzones, whole pizza pies, and deli items (that included olives, pasta salad, caprese salad, and Silician rice balls that are baseball size). The deli has no indoor seating, but there is an outdoor patio. Hubs and I had no clue about the ordering protocol. But we found out the hard way. There was no one behind the deli counter, so we stood in the cashier's line where other people were queued up. When it was our turn at the register, the cashier asked if we ordered yet. We said no, he advised us that orders are taken at the counter. He walked back with us to the far left counter (under the menu board) and took our order. There is only one type of sandwich bread they use, it's a hard crust Italian bread loaf. The size choices are one bread or two. Two bread is basically a large that's cut in half. He asked what sandwich toppings we "didn't want" while pointing to the menu fixings option. Then he gave the hand written order to the two working the food prep. The cashier walked us back to the register to pay. Onto the food. We got a custom order sandwich with salami, capicola, mortadella, and provolone cheese. The deli meats tasted like quality stuff. The bread tasted great. It was rustic and crusty having a substantial chew. It had a bit more of a chew than I prefer for my aging teeth. But it was delicious!
